Pontius Pilate’s Overture
A musical encounter with guilt, limbo and Bulgakov's Moscow—recorded in a kitchen.
Open recording →Improvised together.
Shaped afterwards.

A recording, a misty drive through Sweden, and an image that questions its own making.

Post-production & visual composition — Paul Bogatir
Happü is an evolving archive of music created together through improvisation. No one directs the others: we listen, respond and change each other’s course as we play. Later, listening back, we discover things none of us knew we had made.
After the sessions, Paul selects, edits, mixes and builds the visual works. That is another part of the creative process, but the music began in the space between the musicians. This archive holds both the recordings and the stories that change how we hear them.

Originally called Song One
Two cousins, a cramped outbuilding in Delsbo, and more than eighteen minutes of unplanned music.
It was Happü's first release—though not its first recording. The name, the logo and the conviction that publishing matters began to take shape around it.
